One person has been arrested after a man is found dead Easter Sunday on River Road.
21-year-old Willie Maurice Hervey Jr. Is facing charges of capital murder. Bond has not been set at this time.
Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies say just before noon Sunday they found the body of 20-year-old Mark Austin Hawkins lying on his porch on 2300 block of River Road.
Deputy Melvin Joyner says Hawkins had a gunshot wound to the chest under his right arm. He was pronounced dead on the scene. His body was sent to Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
Sheriff David Duke says last night investigators recovered key evidence at an apartment off Airport and Burk Road, and at a residence in the 1000 block of Redwood leading to Hervey's arrest.
UPDATE: Wichita County Sheriff David Duke confirms with us that a suspect is in custody in today's homicide.
While he won't tell us the suspect's name because that person is not formally charged, he says we could know more tomorrow once that person is charged.
Duke says investigators were able to recover key evidence in this crime.

ORIGINAL: The Wichita County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a man with a puncture wound to the chest died today.
It happened in the 2300 block of River Rd.
Deputy Melvin Joyner says right now, investigators aren't sure how the man got the puncture wound, which they're now identifying as a gunshot wound, but says they are treating this case as a homicide.
The 9-1-1 call initially came in as a request for first responders to check out a subject who was not breathing and found lying on his front porch.
They responded to the scene just before noon.
The victim died shortly thereafter.
Joyner says the victim is Mark Austin Hawkins, who's in his 20's.
His body was sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
