Cold Sores and Your Way of Thinking

Those cold sores which always show up at the most inconvenient time could affect your thinking and memory abilities.

Researchers discovered that people who have higher levels of infection in their blood, because they're repeatedly exposed to the herpes virus which causes cold sores, were more likely to score poorly on memory and thinking tests.

Those with the highest infection levels scored the worst.

The risk was more common in women people with low levels of education and those who did not exercise.
