Warnings tonight about a counterfeit version of the popular ADHD drug Adderall. Apparently, folks are turning to the internet to find the drug. But health experts say that's potentially harmful and that the drugs are ineffective. Lab tests show the counterfeit Adderall contains ingredients used to treat acute pain, like Acetaminophen. Food and Drug Administration officials say fake Adderall pills likely come in "blister" packages, have misspellings on the label, are white in color, and don't have markings on them. Authentic Adderall pills are orange or peach in color, have the letters "dp" on one side and the number "30" on the other. They are always in a 100- count bottle.
