For decades now she has been a journalist, author and television host and Joan Lunden will soon be in Wichita Falls for an annual event.
Lunden says she is looking forward to sharing some life tips at this weekend's Heart of a Woman Brunch and in a preview of her speech she offered this advice... women need to change the way they think about and approach their own health.
Lunden says, "We need to create our own health files and we need to talk to our relatives and understand our family medical history so that we better understand our own health risks and women are so great at taking care of everyone else in their lives, but we tend to let our own health and happiness sometimes slip off our to-do lists."
One way to boost your cardio health is by power shopping and you can do just that this weekend at the KFDX Women's Expo.
In addition to shopping you will also find beauty tips, pampering, financial planning advice and so much more.
You can also get your blood pressure checked and gather tips at various health exhibits.
It's all taking place on Saturday, February 1st at the MPEC from 9-3pm.
It will cost you $3 to get in the door.
