Could an anti-depressant be the best medicine for helping to relieve pain associated with chemotherapy? Researchers at The University of Michigan think so. They believe Cymbalta helps with the painful tingling cancer patients often feel in their hands and feet. It happens with some chemo drugs, and when researchers gave the study participants Cymbalta, nearly 60% of the patients said the painful side effect subsided. These findings may prompt oncologists to limit chemotherapy doses.
