A Cornell study found that 70 percent of women want to lose weight, but shedding extra pounds isn't always easy. Some advice: don't keep tempting treats at home. If it's around, you'll eat it. Instead make a trip out of getting your favorites.
Another tip: make it quick and easy to eat healthy. Keep pre-cut veggies and fruit handy for a fast snack, or instant brown rice for dinner so you won't be forced to the drive-thru when pressed for time. Also, try spicing up dishes. Capsaicin, the spicy part of peppers, boosts your metabolism and quiets down your appetite so you feel fuller sooner.
