Altus Police Search Vehicle; Find No Evidence of Homicide Involvement

Altus Police Chief Tim Murphy says police searched a vehicle that once belonged to a man they've questioned in connection to the murder of 49-year-old Melissa Bost ...
But he says police did *not* find any evidence that would lead them to believe the vehicle was involved in the homicide.
And they believe the car was actually sold about a month ago to someone else.
John Krueger, who has been questioned in connection with the murder, is still in the Jackson County Jail -- being held on warrants for failure to pay or appear.
Jail officials say he has a cash  bond of 75-hundred dollars --  meaning he cannot get a bail bond.
Chief Murphy says he's not specifying  Krueger is a person of interest in the murder ... but he says the P.D. does not think Krueger is being cooperative in the investigation.
He says his department has sent crime scene evidence to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and is waiting for it to be analyzed.
Police found Bost's body in a car parked in an Altus alley on February 28th.
They believe her body and her dog were put in her car and driven to the one thousand block of East Sutherland.
If you have any information, call Altus' Crime Stoppers.
    That number is (580) 482-TIPS.
