Animals Blamed for Zoo 2 You Attack

Owners at Lost River Ranch and Zoo 2 You petting zoo are finding it hard to believe a report stemming from the Wichita County Sheriff's Office investigation into the deaths of several animals. The Sheriff's Office final report  stated that animals are responsible for the deaths of seven rabbits, Wallaby and a pot-bellied pig.
They are skeptical because of all the gates and latches the animal would have had to open to get to their animals. They said the animal would have had to open and  re-latch three gates and open three rabbit hutches.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the veterinarian who examined the animals after the deaths,  found the injuries to the animals were "consistent with ones of dog bites or animal bites." But the Rittenhouse  says that same vet told them it couldn't have been animals.
"There are just too many inconsistencies I think. I think there is a problem out there. I think there is a problem and trying to say that it was done by an animal is a big reach," said Ron Rittenhouse.
Rittenhouse believes it was both an animal and human involved in the attacks. He says within the last month many other reports of other animal mutilations have been in the area including one involving a calf happening right after the Zoo 2 You attack.
Rittenhouse said Tuesday he hopes the community continues to come forward with answers. He has now upped the reward to $2,000.
