Folks were fired up at Genghis Grill in Wichita Falls, where many people from outside Wichita were looking for a hot meal on a rainy day.

Owner Nicole Johnson said their average daily attendance has shot up over the last three days, and she's more than happy her restaurant can help the local economy, one bowl at a time.

"We are going to average about 100 to 150 more," said Johnson, "sometimes it's up to 200. It's a nice kicker for us."

Johnson added plenty of athletes like to eat the Mongolian themed food, because of the healthy starch options.
