The dream of putting an outdoor theater at Berend's Landing started in 2009 ... and that's exactly what it remains today -- a dream.
Streams and Valleys held fundraisers back in 2009 and awarded a one thousand dollar prize to the winning design.
Roby Christie -- with Streams and Valleys -- says the group still plans to use that design concept ... but he says the amphitheater has been put on hold, due to other projects.
For instance, he says the organization just paid for the new owner of the rock climbing gym to attend a safety training course in New York.
Executive Director Sandy Monson says there is no money leftover from previous fundraising.  In fact, she says one of the group's members had to pay out of his pocket to make up for the difference.
