Bond Set at One Million Dollars for Woman Accused of Killing Son

Bond is set at one-million dollars for a Wichita Falls woman charged in the death of her one year-old child.
Judge Mike Little read 25 year-old April Starr Alexander her rights this morning.  She was arrested yesterday in connection with the death of her child in April 2011.
Alexander is charged with four counts of serious bodily injury to a child, and one count of injury to a child causing death.
Police say last April, one year-old Harley Alexander was rushed to the emergency room suffering from head injuries.  The child was then taken to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth where he died two days later.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office lists the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head and brain due to assault by a person.
Arrest affidavits state while talking to detectives, Alexander changed her story several times, which they found suspicious.  Affidavits also state the one year-old had several injuries in the advanced stages of healing.

Officers say Alexander had no reasonable explanation for her son's injuries.
