Police: body of 4-year-old boy sent for autopsy

The boy's cause of death is unknown and an investigation is pending

WICHITA FALLS - A 4-year-old boy died after being found unresponsive on Ardath Ave., Sunday afternoon.

Sergeant Harold McClure, a public information officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department, said officers were called to the 1900 block of Ardath Ave., around 3 p.m., where the boy was pronounced dead.

The boy's body was sent to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for autopsy.

McClure said the cause of death is unknown and an investigation is underway.
