Burkburnett city commissioners are preparing to discuss rates to the city's new water vending station.

Crews started installing that station last week at the corner of East 4th Street and North Avenue B.

Officials say it will replace the old coin-operated system and make it harder for unauthorized residents to use.

Commissioners will set the guidelines for the new system and set the rates customers will have to pay during tonight's meeting, which starts tonight at 7 p.m. in City Hall - Council Chambers.

Officials say the coin-operated system will remain open until the new system is online sometime next month.
