Candlelight Stroll Illuminates Part Of Fort Silll's History

 History buffs might enjoy a different type of holiday tradition. It's the annual candlelight stroll at the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark Museum .. a unique way to experience the past. The event will be held Sunday, December 9th and is free and open to the public. However, tickets are required and will be available for pickup beginning Tuesday, November 27th at The Museum Interpretative Center. The annual candlelight stroll explores the 1870s army post. The National Historic landmark boasts 37 buildings dating from the 19th century which comprise the most complete frontier fort in existence from the Indian wars period.
