The lack of rain has a Clay County town requiring residents to conserve water even more.
Today, Petrolia officials implemented Stage 4 of the town's Drought Contingency plan.
According to Mayor Bill Holmberg, here's what that means for Petrolia residents.
Absolutely no outside watering is allowed.
Resident's cannot use city water to fill their swimming pools.
There will even be no bulk sale of water.
Officials say these Stage 4 water restriction are effective immediately.
