A group that is on a mission to improve the educational experience for Hispanic students wants to hear from parents in the community.
The Coalition for Hispanic Education is made up of educators and community members from all educational backgrounds and jobs and they are serving as a liason between parents and district.
In order to get feedback from those parents they are hosting a forum tomorrow night from 6-8 pm at Sam Houston Elementary.
They will break out into small groups to see what concerns or questions parents may have.
Once they collect this information they will go to the school board meeting to share with the district.
The group has already presented some of their findings to the school board.
The coalition was formed back in January.
If you want more information call Miriam Mas at Region 9 at 322-6928.
