Ozuna says people don't know what voting precinct they're in since they haven't received their voter registration cards yet ... so they can't figure out whether they're eligible to vote in this election.
Officials at the Wichita County Clerk's office says registration cards just came in to their office yesterday and today ... So they will be mailed out to voters on Monday or Tuesday.
Ozuna says you can just bring your expired voter I.D. card or your driver's license to the polls ... Because you're still registered, even without an updated card.
Early voting continues Monday and Tuesday ... and election day is next Saturday.
Wichita Falls City Clerk
"It's just been confusing - just mainly because they don't have their voter cards ... They don't know what their precinct is, so they're just coming to check to see if they can go ahead and vote."
In addition to the confusion about polling places and voting eligibility ... Ozuna asks voters to be patient because they're using paper ballots this year because the delay caused by the redistricting legal battles moved the city elections too close to the primary .
If you're not sure if you're eligible to vote in the Wichita Falls election, Ozuna recommends that you just call her office.
