In Florida, a deputy is dragged by a moving vehicle after trying to arrest a man for stealing two tubes of lip balm and a pair of sunglasses. The deputy tried putting 23 year old Robert Pinos in handcuffs, but then Pinos jumped in his car and floored it, dragging the deputy about 20 feet down the street.
Police say the suspect drove to his house, hid in the attic and was arrested after he fell through the floor of his attic, into the garage.
The deputy suffered a head injury, but is okay. He's now on light duty.
Pinos is charged with escape, resisting arrest, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer along with other charges.
