If you take care of a loved one at home an upcoming seminar is designed with you in mind.
The Positive Dementia Caregiving Conference will feature Trainer Teepa Snow, who is a nationally-recognized speaker, who will go in and out of character as someone who has Alzheimer's.
She will demonstrate issues and problems caregivers often encounter and teach folks how to better care for their loved one.
The conference is Wednesday from 8:30am- 3pm at the Wellington Banquet and Conference Center.
That is located at 5200 Kell W. Blvd. in Wichita Falls.
Lunch and a beverage will be included.
Thanks to the conference being underwritten by the Presbyterian Manor Foundation the event is free, however seating is limited.
