More than 1,000 people rolled their 4-wheel drive trucks and jeeps out to the Hillbilly Heaven over the weekend.
That's where they were able to romp around in a seven acre mudpit, putting their all-terrain vehicles to the ultimate test.
Organizers say about 1,500 people camped out, some came from as far away as Pennsylvania.
It was all to participate in the annual spring mudfest that has really grown in popularity.
Hillbilly Heaven organizers, Terry and Shelia Davis, say, "When you first say a mudding event everybody's like that's not very popular, but in the state of Texas it's becoming one of the most popular sports is just a mudding event. People are just loving it."
On top of the large mudpit the weekend also included a concert and more than 1,000 acres of off-road trails, as well as an ATV dirt track.
