Ghosts, goblins, and all things creepy... give us goosebumps every Halloween, no matter how young or old we are. Halloween is always on October 31st, but folks in Archer City are hoping to have a little "early" Halloween fun and bring an end to cancer. It's the "Give A Hoot and Haunt Out Cancer" event at the Archer City Square. The festival of fun begins at 3pm on Saturday, October 20th and goes until about 10pm. Food, games, craft booths, and costume contests for adults, children, and even pets. Plus, there will be a street dance featuring the music of "Barefoot Dixie". Cost is just $5 per person or $10 for couples and families. All the money raised benefits The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Archer County.
