More than 900-thousand late model Jeep Grand Cherokees and Liberty SUVs are being recalled because of a possible problem with the vehicles' air bags.

Chrysler officials say the vehicles' air bag control computer could cause the air bag to inflate while the SUV is being driven, but no crashes have been reported.

2002 to 2004 Jeep Cherokee models, and 2002 to 2003 Jeep Liberty models are included in the recall.

Chrysler will begin notifying owners in January.
