Judge Joe Wapner of "The People's Court" Dies

 Joeseph Wapner, best known as the original judge on "The People's Court," has died.

 Wapner was 97.

 "The People's Court" debuted in Sept. 1981, and it made Wapner an instant household name.

 The former L.A. County Superior Court Judge stayed with the reality show until 1993.

 Wapner was married for seventy-years and had three children.
