2015 Burkburnett Murder Case Now Has A Trial Date

 

A man charged with two others in a 2015 Burkburnett murder case, now has his trial date set.

Charles Cornman III trial is a special setting for September 11 in 78th District Court.

Three people were arrested after the body of Cameron Scott McCarthy was found wrapped in cloth and plastic in the bedroom of a Burkburnett home in November of 2015. Police say he had been shot.

Teresa Faye Billen and Thomas Selman are also charged in his death.

Cornman is also charged with a reported assault at a motel in which he and McCarthy, allegedly terrorized and robbed a man.

Police say Billen was also present.

That incident allegedly occurred shortly before McCarthy's murder.
