More than 40,000 feet of pipe still needs to be installed in the emergency reclaimed water project for Wichita Falls. But now all that pipe is delivered and ready to be joined, the last 5,000 of the 65,000 feet needed was delivered yesterday.

More than 20,000 feet of pipe have already been installed. As of 10/25/2013, the project stretches from the Cypress Water Treatment Plant to Lake Wichita and into Holiday Creek to the Champions Golf Course at Weeks Park.

The temporary water reuse project should be ready for testing this spring, and then recycled water from the river road plant will begin flowing back to the city instead of down the river.
