4th of July Celebrations All Across Texoma

You can celebrate Independence Day with a bang all across Texoma.

The Kell House Museum's 30th annual Independence Day will include activities for the kids, plus a patriotic parade. The fun begins tomorrow at 9am with the parade from 8th and Ohio up to the museum. That will be followed by a salute to America at the kell house.

The town of Saint Jo will illuminate Boggess City Park for a July 4th celebration. Live music, free watermelon and other fun begins at 6pm. A fireworks show starts at dark.

Then Saturday, you can head to Possum Kingdom lake for fireworks show at Hell's Gate. The YMCA gate, which is at the end of Park Road 36, will open at 5:30 and close promptly at 8:45. Admission is five dollars per person and free for kids 3 and under. Coordinators says neither alcohol nor pets are allowed.
