Texas Parks and Wildlife officials say they have no plans to clean up the fish lying dead around Lake Wichita.
We just showed you yesterday the thousands of fish that are now littering the shore line.
Officials say it's mostly Carp fish becoming stressed because the lake is low and temperatures are high.
"It would look like we have a golden algae outbreak right now. On top of that the lake is really low, there is very little oxygen in the water and the water temps are very very high," says Robert Mauk, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Biologist.
Parks and wildlife are testing the lake water to see if it is in fact golden algae.
The results of their tests will be in tomorrow afternoon.
