A Wichita Falls man who was first arrested in October for the alleged sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl is back behind bars tonight.
57-year-old David Paul Christner is being held in the Wichita County Jail on a sealed indictment for indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Christner was indicted on that charge in November. Last April police say the 11-year-old told them she woke up and Christner was assaulting her. After being indicted, his bond was lowered and he was out on bond, before his arrest today.
Court records show Christner's original charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child was dismissed last week as the case was re-indicted on the new charge.
Because his rights have not yet been read, the indictment has not been unsealed. Once it is public record, we will be able to get information about the alleged victim.
