A project that has been in the work all summer had its unveiling this morning
The don't fence me in a project originally intended to have two hundred fence pickets painted and then displayed.
However, the response was so large they ended up with 12-hundred painted fence pickets.
They are currently on display in the median between Kell East and Kell West near Bluff Street.
"This is the climax of a summer of imagination and a summer of people saying yes. Yes we will try to be more involved in the arts, yes we want to create our own expression on a fence picket and yes we want to contribute to this project." Margie Reese, Executive Director, Wichita Falls Alliance For Arts & Culture
The project will remain on display through Hotter n' Hell Hundred weekend.
You can still voice your opinion on what should happen to the fence posts after the display is taken down.
