WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) - Students in the EMS program at Vernon College will now get the chance to gain better real-world experience.
AMR Medical Transport will donate an ambulance to the Vernon College EMS program Thursday.
The ambulance will be used to train EMS students how to move and handle a patient in an ambulance environment.
An AMR spokesman said being able to work inside a real ambulance better prepares the students for the workforce.
To be a part of the official ambulance hand-off, head over to Vernon College in Century City Center Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
