Archer City Enters Drought Catastrophe

- The City of Archer City has entered into stage five drought catastrophe.

That means citizens there are now under stage five water restrictions, which are in place because the combined levels of Lake Kickapoo and Lake Arrowhead have reached 25%.

Under these mandatory restrictions, irrigation is prohibited, except for water from wells, residents won't be able to fill their pools, the watering of foundation is limited to once per week between 8 p.m. and midnight, and car washes will shut down on Sundays and Mondays.
