A 40-year-old man is behind bars in Dallas after police suspect he killed a man who body was found in the middle of a Jacksboro road last night.

Around 9:30 last night, police were called to the 100 block of West Union St. in Jacksboro for reports of a body found in the road.

Officers say that person was 40-year-old Broderick Dean.

His body was sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.

At this time, police say they will not speculate on the cause of death but say they have reason to believe Dean was murdered.

Police were also looking for a stolen vehicle, a Dodge with paper plates, that was reported stolen out of Jacksboro overnight.

Dallas police officers saw that vehicle around 1:30 p.m, pulled it over, and arrested the driver on suspicion of Dean's murder.

That driver is identified as 47-year-old Emory Alexander.

Jacksboro police say he's being held on a murder warrant in the Dallas County Jail.
