Police say an arrest is made in the shooting of a Wichita Falls man last month after the victim was able to give them the shooter's name.
Officers say around 4:30 am on June 23, they responded to a shots fired call in the 12-hundred block of Monroe.
They say four men saw a motorcycle driving recklessly in their neighborhood and approached the driver to ask him to slow down.
Witnesses say the motorcycle driver was then joined by another man and the two started threatening to shoot the group of men.
Police say the motorcyclist then turned around and shot 23-year-old Jimmy Baker-Palmer who was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
They say Baker-Palmer was able to identify the alleged shooter as 25-year-old Matthew Peevey.
Peevey is charged with aggravated assault and is in the Wichita County Jail on a $750-thousand bond.
