The first of several expected arrests is made in the case involving the theft of a horse statue from a Wichita Falls salon.
Nineteen-year-old Kristina Ann Woeller is charged with possession of stolen merchandise under $20-thousand.
According to an arrest affidavit, police received a crime stoppers tip that led them to Woeller's apartment at Hunter's Crossing.
Officers found "Miss Silver Buckle" in pieces inside a closet in Woeller's apartment.
Woeller said two men brought the horse into her residence.
She says she told to men to take the statue out because she didn't want it there.
Owners of Tangles Salon say they do have insurance on the statue and hope to have it repaired as soon as possible.
