Arrest Made in Wednesday's Fatal Shooting

One man is booked into the Wichita County Jail overnight charged with capital murder in connection with a fatal shooting in a convenience store robbery.

32-year-old Steven Anthony Wade is behind bars charged with capital murder. He was arrested just before midnight in the 1200 block of Ridgeway Drive. His bond has been set at $2-million.

Police say Wade has confessed, and that money was taken during the robbery.

Around 9:15 Wednesday night police were called out to Zoom Zoom's number 5. They say when they arrived they found one of the clerks had been shot.

28- year- old Leonzo Jones was taken to united regional by ambulance. He underwent emergency surgery, but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
