The company has 65 full-time job openings for customer service representatives in the call center.
These openings are a combination of new and back fill positions, but mostly new openings.
Company officials say these reps will have a wide variety of tasks such as focusing on delivering a respectful and expedient customer service experience while handling billing and accounting inquiries, negotiating for payment and processing electronic payments, reviewing account activity and discussing rate plans and features, as well as troubleshooting and answering simple technical questions on mobile services.
AT&T is looking to fill these positions immediately, and the new hires will start work in September and October.
