The next possible Governor of Texas could originally be from Wichita Falls.

It's been widely speculated since Governor Rick Perry announced Monday he won't seek a fourth term in office next year, Attorney General Greg Abbott has the clearest path to succeed him as Governor.

Abbott recently announced a five-day tour of the state, starting in San Antonio.

One stop on that trip will bring him to Wichita Falls, where he was born.

Abbott will be in Wichita Falls Tuesday, July 16th to address supporters in front of his childhood home.

He is scheduled to hold a press conference on Randel Drive.
