Authorities say one man is dead following and overnight hit-and-run crash in Archer County and they need your help in gathering more information.
They say it happened on US 82 about a mile west of Mankins late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
DPS Trooper Tony Fulton says the victim was found dead in a ditch with his vehicle on and running on the side of the road.
Fulton says passersby saw a body laying against fence and reported it.
He says it appears the victim stopped his vehicle for an unknown reason and was then hit and killed.
Fulton identifies the victim as 28-year-old Jeremy Garren of Albany.
Authorities believe a 2009 or 2010 white Dodge Ram pick-up was involved.
They say they were able to locate the suspect vehicle late this morning and say depending on the outcome of their investigation, the driver could be facing charges.
