BLM Talking to Red River Landowners Tuesday

Red River land owners will have another chance to talk with the Bureau of Land Management about the possibility of having their land taken.

Tuesday the BLM will be at the Clay County commissioners meeting to discuss their planning efforts and answer any questions or concerns land owners may have.

One key topic will be a legal tool called "recreation and public purpose" which allows the BLM to lease or convey public land to a state or city.

The meeting will take place Tuesday at 9 aam at the Clay County courthouse annex.

The floor will be opened to BLM and the public after the regular commissioners meeting.
