Bond Set at One Million Dollars for Accused "Lucy Park" Murderer

Dustin Hord, the man who turned himself into police Friday after a capital murder warrant was issued, told police another man shot Roger Aliff, with Hord's gun. That's according to the arrest warrant affidavit we obtained this morning.

Hord was read his rights over the weekend and bond set at $1 million dollars. He is the only one charged at last check in last October's shooting. Aliff's body was found in Lucy Park by people leaving the park. Police say cell phone records and statements from witnesses led to the warrant.

According to the statement, Hord gave police, Hord said he and another person picked Aliff up at a house near 8th and Warford to buy drugs from him. Hord said he had his .25 caliber handgun between the front seats and that the second person began to argue with Aliff and the drug buy turned into a robbery.

Hord said the second person then picked up the gun and shot Aliff in the leg and chest. Then Hord said they drove to Lucy Park and dropped the body there. Aliff's daughter told us Friday that her dad knew Hord and that other people could be involved.
