One day after the WFISD school bond failed to pass both sides are saying it's time to move forward with developing a new plan.

About three- fourths of voters decided the bond plan was not best for the district.

Supporters and opponents of the bond say they think the bond failed for a number of reasons.

“Water, the water issue has defiantly come up plenty of time, the bond was a bold plan, there's no doubt about it so we had some sides that we're split on what that needed to be, so i think there are other things on that , with the rivalry,” says WFISD School Board President Kevin Goldstein.

“Phone surveys with the city that all supported a 3 school plan and then the school board gave us a two school plan and the community voted that's not what they wanted, so i think we can do better,” says  Charlie Gibson with Community for a Better Bond.
