Bowie's city manager says it's time to build a new complex so most city offices can be housed under one roof.

Ricky Tow says city departments currently operate out of multiple buildings.

He says most of those buildings are older and need repairs.

He also says most of those buildings are at capacity and employees are doubled up in most offices.

Tow says if the city council votes to construct a new city complex, city administration, water, code enforcement, emergency management, police departments, and courts would operate out of the building.

The council is expected to discuss possible locations for the complex at their next meeting which is slated for March 4.
