Burkburnett Woman Is Now Indicted For Exposing Her Child To Meth

A Burkburnett woman is now indicted for allegedly exposing her one-year-old daughter to meth.

Police say they were contacted by a CPS investigator about the baby testing positive for the drug.

They say when they interviewed Stacey May McCarthy she said she and a friend had used meth numerous times in the campground where they lived-- while their children were there.

She told authorities she didn't think the children could be exposed to the meth because she snorted the drugs instead of smoking them.

A Wichita County Grand Jury indicted McCarthy on one count of abandoning or endangering a child.
