It's a Cajun celebration in downtown Wichita Falls as hundreds of folks get a taste of Louisiana.
More than three thousand people filled the streets to enjoy the annual downtown proud event Cajun Fest this afternoon.
People enjoyed strolling through various vendors stores, games for kids, music, and of course, the food.
Event coordinators say they made sure to order plenty of crayfish for this years event, after they ran out last year due to a shortage of crayfish in Louisianan.
And those who attended say not only is there tons, but the crayfish taste great too.
"I mean this is delicious this is probably the best seafood i have had since i have gotten to Texas," said Daniel Loughery, who attended Cajun Fest.
Cajust Fest continues until 10 Saturday evening, and tickets cost ten dollars at the gate.
