A California man is behind bars in Wichita County after DPS troopers say they found a large amount of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
25-year-old Andrew David Green is charged with possession of marijuana over five pounds. Deputies say Green was driving a car and following too close behind other vehicles in front of him, so they pulled him over.
When deputies asked for consent to search green's car, they say he refused.
A K-9 unit reported to the scene and deputies say the K-9 alerted them of drugs in the car.
Once they conducted a search, deputies say they found 11 bags full of marijuana. Green is jailed on a 50 thousand dollar bond.
