A republican candidate for Texas Attorney General made a quick stop in Wichita Falls on Thursday afternoon while on the campaign trail.
Texas Representative Dan Branch says as the primary gets closer, he wants to reach out to as many voters as possible.
Branch says his goals as Texas Attorney General include protecting children from online predators and the continued the fight against an overreaching federal government.
Branch says, "That's what Texans are looking for. Texans are looking for an attorney who will get results, push back successfully and win and win for Texas and that's an example of one of the things that I've accomplished in my record, in my work in the legislature."
Since the Texas Attorney General race has three candidates, Branch says he'll be ready for a possible runoff election.
After his brief stop in Wichita Falls, Branch continued onto San Angelo.
