Candles lit in honor of domestic violence victims

It's a sobering trend, more and more people coming forward saying they're a victim of domestic violence.

If you're a victim, you're certainly not alone, and those associated with First Step know it, that's why for 15 years now the organization has hosted a candlelight vigil to remember victims of domestic violence and honor survivors.

Executive director of First Step Inc., Debra Dyason said, "We want to make sure that all the people in our community come together and work as one to make sure we have no more silent witnesses."

First step is always looking for volunteers, and if you would like to help out simply visit First Step Inc.
