Despite the overcast weather, cars were shining at Sam's Club Saturday.

The third annual show and shine car show to benefit Children's Miracle Network brought out almost 50 cars to be enjoyed and judged.

There were 12 different judging categories including muscle car, Mustang and truck.

There was also live music, food and drinks.

Organizers say Sam's Club has supported CMN for many years.

“Sam's and Wal-Mart have been raising money since 1984 and ever since then we've been raising money for Children's Miracle Network, just to do something, inside we sell the balloons for Children's Miracle Network so this is one of the organizations we raise money for because it stays local,” says Willie Howard with Sam's Club.

Three Nighthawks players judged the car show.

Last year the event raised $12,000.

This year, they've set a goal of $16,000.
