Teddie Whitefield is indicted on three counts of manslaughter.
Attorneys in this case met for a status hearing this morning, 18-year old Yeni Lopez, who was eight months pregnant, and 13-year-old Gloria Montoya died in the wreck on Jacksboro Highway in June 2011.
The car they were in was hit by an on-duty Wichita Falls police officer's vehicle.
Toxicology results detected four different medications in Whitefield's system, including an allergy medicine, diet pills, and two different types of depression medication, one of those Xanax.
During today's hearing, First Assistant District Attorney John Gillespie says he turned over information, pictures, and video of the crash to the defense.
He says Whitefield's attorney has hired an accident re-constructionist to take a look at the wreck and build the defense's case.
Gillespie says that's the last thing to be done before the case goes to trial, which he anticipates will be in the spring.
