Castaway Cove recently wrapped up it's 2013 season, but saw a dip in attendance.
Tuesday Castaway Cove officials presented a season report to the city council, marking the end of the fourth year the city has owned the water park.
They say attendance was down by nearly 5,000 people this year and they blame the drought because there was some confusion if the park would be open due to water restrictions.
But with less customers the park was able to save over a million gallons of water from last year.
A lower number group sales also contributed to the numbers and officials say they believe not having a new attractions could be to blame.
They hope the new Aqua Loop slide will attract more people to the park next year.
